January 7, 2023 - Lovely mineral nose, fruit as a second note. Served with lamb with harissa sauce, with nice balanced result.

April 14, 2022 - PnP and drank over 2 hours. No detailed notes. Opened quickly. Very tasty. In a good place now.

January 15, 2022 - CT window stated I should have consumed this now, but was a very enjoyable experience. Decanted for an hour, drank with ribeye and roasted root vegetables. Balanced, still some acid. Would not wait much longer.

July 30, 2019 - This one still seems pretty rough and tough for a 10 year old Syrah! Stood up well to a meat-lovers pizza. The fruit, while still up front, is beginning to show signs of age, tasting more stewed than delicious and ripe. All in all, great stuff, and my first taste of any of the Denner wines. I'm now a fan.

April 1, 2019 - Had been sitting on this for years because the winemaker’s note said this should be good 2018-2024. Decided to open now based on a couple CT notes suggesting not to wait anymore. Really happy we did. The elevated acidity wasn’t a problem, and in fact without it I fear the wine would’ve peaked a few years ago. Had thrown a fair amount of sediment & the tannins are almost completely resolved. Quite food compatible with a nose that was fantastically expressive. First thought was to score 93, but gave it another point just for having character.
