In German: Ziemlich dichte Farbe, ebenso dichte Malbecnase mit viel blaubeeriger etwas liköriger Frucht, Gewürze aus dem Weihnachtsregal und Süditalien. Am Gaumen dann heftig dicht, viel dunkle Frucht und Gewürz, von Säure und Tannin überlagert. Am zweiten Tag viel ruhiger und mit toller Frucht, Tiefe und Länge, zum Reinlegen gut und hat einen tollen Trinkfluss. Herrlicher Wein, braucht viel Luft und wahrscheinlich noch zehn Jahre... 93P -

September 2, 2011 - Definitely a better wine, but I did not make more specific notes except that this wine is more supple and easy than the “Monastere”, and imo for that reason less interesting.
