June 26, 2020 - Opened and followed for a few hours, then forgot about it on the counter for a day. Much more interesting after a day. Grapey grenache nose with blueberries, menthol, mulberries, boysenberries, flowers, prunes, and herbs. Grapey palate too, with red cherries, plums, herbs, cranberries, raspberries, and earth. Moderate acidity, lightly grippy tannins, moderate finish. Interesting wine. Maybe I didn't love it, but it was nice to have something different.

April 27, 2015 - Cork sound, streaked half-way up. Very light red, almost like a dark rose. Strong aroma of cherries. Predominately cherry flavors somewhat framed by light tannins. I think I would serve this fairly cold as a red-wine aperitif.

October 30, 2013 - Raisiny fruity cherry, noce and light, but with a sweetness and low acidity.

April 7, 2013 - Nice wine, and very fresh tasting, and it holds up over several days open. The carignane dominates the flavor profile, with its black fruits and anise, but there's some strawberry fruit and baking spices as well.

February 7, 2013 - Berry and swamp aromas. Luscious spicy strawberry flavor. Cinnamon apple finish. Pure as the driven snow. Nice depth, delicate, nuanced.
