September 7, 2018 - Decanted, aerated and filtered. Stunk up the cellar with wafting scents of blackberry jam after aggressive swirling in the decanted. Full bodied and inky with chewy tannins. Went great with spicy dark chocolate. A lovely, zippy Biale zin!

March 4, 2017 - The fruit in this wine has held up amazingly well. Dark and red fruits are still expressive with herbs and spice notes playing a larger role today. It will be wise to drink this wine sooner than later.

November 20, 2016 - Unctuous texture with lively black cherries and Christmas spice. A touch of minerality on the finish makes this well age Zinfandel show all its layers. There is still enough structure for three to four years of enjoyment left. Awesome juice!

October 17, 2015 - Opened for the classic game, started a little muted but opened extremely well, showing ripe deep oaky notes of braised stewed black fruits, with a hoisin and jamberry compote profile.
