December 1, 2017 - Opaque black to the edge, and even the bubbles from the pour are purple. Concentrated fruit aromas of black cherry, black plum and blackberry. Rich, lush, delicious, caressing, and near seamless in the mouth with a fine balance of refreshing acidity and velvety tannin.

August 11, 2017 - At 10 years old, turning into one of the best wines in the reserve series that Geyser Peak has made. Opaque to the edge and effusively perfumed. The sip shows great balance between fruit, acid, and tannin. Lively and refreshing acidity with rich blackberry, black cherry, and black currant. Ample drying tannin with nothing astringent or harsh. The swallow rachets up all the previous flavors and flows into an almost endless aftertaste. A magnificent buy at $25 from Costco.

April 19, 2017 - Nice nose of plum, black cherry, and mocha. Palate repeats nose. Nice balanced finish with a little bit of grip. Drink now.

March 29, 2017 - Well balanced with good dark fruit, blackberries maybe. This wine was drinking very well. No need to save any longer!
