January 23, 2014 - AuZone AGM (AuZone, Stockholm): Nose with dark cherries, some violets, and discrete flowery notes. Palate with good concentration, some sweetness of fruit, blackberries, and some tannin. Rather young, 88(+) p
This wine was served blind. My thoughts went to Syrah, but the wine felt a little more “hot” without going the whole way to a New World style. Some thought the wine showed more of a Grenache style and came from Southern Rhône.
On this bottle the grape varieties were written in the order "Grenache Syrah Mourvèdre", but I have assumed it is the same wine. -

September 16, 2012 - Slightly opaque, deep ruby in colour. The nose is firstly dominated by mint/menthol aromas after the bottle is opened, which will afterwards followed by green pepper, smoke, tar, ripe cherry and raspberry. Not a spectacular nose. Clean and in old world style. Medium bodied. Its very soft structure is at the same time clean and pure. The acidity is obvious. The tannins are ripe and well-integrated. Although some alcohol and bitterness at its medium-length finish, this does not negatively affact the general balance and pleasure. A successful wine in old world style.
Tasted during the blind tasting event " Recent prominent Turkish wines" performed by Turkish Wine Enthusiasts with participation of İsa Bal,Gence Alton and Aslı Odman on 24 June 2012. -

September 1, 2012 - Hafif opak derin yakut renkli.Şişe ilk açıldığında ön buruna hakim olan mentol/mint aromalarını bir süre sonra yeşil biber,is,katran, olgun kiraz ve ahududu takip ediyor.Burun gösterişli degil.Temiz ve eski dünya stilinde.Orta gövdeli.Oldukça yumuşak yapısı aynı zamanda taze ve saf.Asidite belirgin.Tanenleri olgun ve entegre.Orta uzunluktaki bitişinde hafifce acılık ve alkol hissedilse de bu genel dengeyi ve keyfi etkilemiyor.Eski dünya stilinde oldukça başarılı bir şarap.
