  July 25, 2012 - Deep copper appearance; intense nose of apricots, must, candied oranges, orange zest, spice box, and smoke. Lively and juicy with a thick, taffeta-like texture; knife-like acidity gives lift to the candied apricot, orange marmalade, golden raisin, and orange peel flavors; mangoes, honey, and honeycomb come through on the long finish. A touch of botrytis throughout. Excellent.

  February 15, 2012 - Very solid concentration. Not extremely sweet. Can't get myself too drink too much of this on its own. Using to make foie gras terrine. Great QPR.

  December 23, 2011 - Full bodied. This is somewhere between a Beerenauslese and a Sauternes, with a full, ripe nose with brown sugar that continues on the palate together with some hints of botrytis and caramel, with a long, honeyed finish. Very good acidity. 90
