December 25, 2023 - Delicate A beautiful 10 vintage with all correct vintage characteristics. Welll done. Drink up

January 27, 2023 - Opened in honor of BD14. Had the typical Pinot barnyard funk on the nose. Still had the slightest strawberry notes during the first hour, and I swear I picked up some vanilla. A mellow Pinot you should drink sooner rather than later.

September 26, 2018 - PnP, paired with a spicy beef curry dish and was great - effervescent cherry cola. An hour later, deep cherry nose and sour cherry with an unpleasant bitter finish reminiscent of black tea steeped too long. Over the hill.

December 9, 2017 - This has evolved nicely since my previous bottle. Light to medium bodied. Red fruit, plum, rose petal, spice with some tea on the finish.

June 13, 2014 - This is sour and tight, like a young langhe nebbiolo. But just let it air a bit and it will show you some fragile petals, if not full bloom. What throws you off is that while there is some sweet oregon fruit underneath, the first impression is a mouthful of blood orange juice and smoked black tea. Perhaps acids a little volatile and the finish has a bitter note, but this is elegant and juicy. I stand by this verdict. Priceworthy above all, and food friendly, but for sure no new world mega pii-noh monster.
