October 9, 2021 - This wine was really singing last night. Glorious! We had this and '07 Gorelli Le Potazzine BdM -- I was expecting the latter to be the winner, but this was the unanimous favorite. Should have at least 5 more years in the sweet spot.

July 10, 2021 - La Serena continues to SING! Really perfect upon opening and gets better with decant overnight. Great floral with limited sediment. Still has just enough juice to really enjoy. Great vino that will continue to age well.

June 21, 2021 - Red fruit is accented by tobacco and dried mushrooms. Good depth and texture. The nose has the classic brunello characteristics. Everything is in the right place. This wine has fives years of enjoyment left. Good juice.
