April 23, 2016 - This wine has really mellowed out, and shows less character than in the past. Color has changed - more on the brick red side. The initial aromas are raspberry dominant. Was our last bottle of this vintage. Recommend you drink up!

September 28, 2015 - Double decanted; minimal sediment; clear medium red/purple color. One hour later: Nose-filling blackberry aromas. Slightly jammy cherries with a bit of pepper on the palate and well-balanced by the acids. Medium-length finish with soft tannins. Should drink well for another couple of years. At $17, a great QPR.

August 31, 2014 - Dirty plum color. Warm cedar, crushed raspberry, and wet leather nose. Medium bodied, dried strawberries, cranberries, black pepper, woody tannins, smoke, some heat, and a sappy medium length finish. Fruit forward without being in your face.
