May 21, 2014 - This wine is drinking beautifully now - tannins have softened a bit, and it did not need time to open. Enjoyed with a pot roast and everyone loved it.

May 8, 2014 - Didn't take notes :( We had this a couple weeks ago and it is utterly delicious. I do remember dark fruits with some tobacco and tar. Opened up nicely.

May 1, 2013 - Loads of overripe blackberries, with some very slightly black cherries, sweet Oak with hints of vanilla, hints of menthol. A 15+ second finish. A pretty dense wine that is also smooth. A solid value.
