Started with lots of chrysanthemums, barley on the nose, with very faint scents of white-flowers, honey and nuts. Already well-matured and advanced... More nuts on the palate. Honeysuckle notes (both nose & palate) became slightly more apparent with time in glass. This finished with some slight bitterness too. If this is representative of Carillon's '97 BBM, then I'd say drink-up soon as this was already on its way down...

September 18, 2009 - Not of the quality of the 99 but very good. It lies between the 98 and 99 in style. At first it was a little lacking on the finish but with time it added some weight.

June 12, 2008 - Very pretty aromas of white flowers and a combination of citrus and green apple. Lovely balance and nice minerality. Hard to say where this is on the evolutionary curve, but it is drinking very nicely now.
