August 14, 2016 - Saw this at WineEx for $19 and appreciated the opportunity to try a NZ Pinot with some bottle age. Very strong new world Pinot aromatics. On the palate, also strong fairly highly extracted flavors. Very intense Pinot -- a little too much so for my palate. Depth doesn't quite match the strong veneer, though it's not hollow. Does mellow a bit with air (I have vacuvin'd and stored in fridge for two days).

June 13, 2014 - Pale garnet at the core, tending to light orange at the rim - not faded, just so. Ethereal nose, but concentrated palate - dense and powerful fruit, slight sweetness and a touch of bitterness on the finish that diminishes after an hour's air. Impressive.

October 8, 2011 - It was good but a little thin.
