  September 22, 2013 - PnP, served non-blind. Cork soaked 0,5cm, still spongy. Medium ruby core, softly faded to the rim. The nose had me slightly worried in the first few moments, but once it had blown of some VA it never looked back. In fact, it got better through the last glass, 90 minutes later. This is absolutely in a perfect spot right now, with elegantly textured red currant and soft plum preserves. A touch of menthol and tobacco leaf, with a really lovely finish that lingers, playfully and artfully. Really good juice and it paired perfectly with an end-of-summer rib eye on the grill. Tannins, acids and fruit suggest another 3 very solid years are yet ahead. 14,2% abv, recommended
