January 29, 2016 - Closed nose. Light subtle hints of black and red cherries. Great spherical medium bodied lush palate with excellent weight and freshness. Superb length. I agree this is like a Burgundy on steroids!

October 20, 2015 - Short note. Dark core with slight bricking. Nose with pepper, licorice, vanilla, blackberries, cassis and peppermint. Marked burnt note. Medium body, medium tannin, medium (+) acidity, medium (-) finish, and lacking weight on mid palate. Good but uninteresting.
