  January 25, 2009 - Night 1: very subdued and elegant at first. Needed air to come to more life. Really elegant with nice acidity and layers of flavor(although very subtle). Really fine grained tannins that build with air. At first it didn't seem like a teeth stainer, but definitely was as tannins coat your mouth. Cherries up front, with a hint of milk chocolate and mint thereafter. Great balance, maybe a bit too subtle for some. 89-90pts.

  January 10, 2009 - A bonus wine in the tasting - from a 6L bottle. Very smooth and balanced. Nice dark fruit taste and medium finish.
