December 16, 2023 - This bottle is open and ready to go. Notes of dark fruit (black cherries,.dark plum), also some kirsch, savory herbs, some leather, graphite, dark stone minerality, some pepper, more animalic notes like blood, raw meat, also some violets. It's full-bodied and pretty rich, but with nice balance of medium+ acidity and still medium+ tannin that will probably not intergrate completely befofe the fruit will be gone. Long finish. In an excellent place now. Drink up.

May 12, 2023 - Nose with ripe dark fruits and cocoa. The palate is filled with ripe, extracted fruit, black olives, cocoa, pralines from a box chocolate, wood spice and vanillin. A bit watery but ample fruit, a nice contradiction. Good chewy but integrated tannins, a bit shy but refreshing acidity. More linear than complex but quite satisfying. Very nice, has some years left in it.

December 27, 2022 - Too much alcohol, but pleasant nevertheless. Mature plum, amarena sotto spirito. Past its best.

December 26, 2020 - Dark red, black core, blueish reflexes --- Nose pure elegance, mahogany, cardboard, dark fruit, nutty aspects, some spiciness, some clove --- Palate fresh, watery, wonderful acidity intermixed with red fruit aspects, orange peel, blueberry, some ripe cherry, wonderful tartness, some plum, hint of sour cherry --- Finishes rather long on its elegance, red fruit flashing back, minerality, some ash, some heat. Whow, again an impressive showing, fresher and more interesting as last time, very elegant, wild elegance, tasty and captivating. Tannins and acidity promise another 5 years of development.

November 6, 2020 - Darkest red, black core --- Nose cardboard, nice tone of sweetness, nutty, black cherries, elegant wood notes, some black currant jam, some mediterranean herbs --- Palate watery, elegant, cool, cherries, nice acidity, nice mineral aspects, red fruit, some plums --- Finishes medium long on nice tartness and some charcoal. Tasty, elegant, vivid, absolutely in balance.
