December 26, 2022 - This is I’m sure not everyone’s wine and quite honestly to me it’s not really wine so much as a nice after dinner drink that is mostly blueberry and spice notes and with a kindof warming feel to it (probably from the alcohol). Pairs quite well with chocolate and is enjoyable and while I wouldn’t put it in the category of truly wine serious it is a wine that I really like nonetheless.

June 29, 2015 - Confession: I love blueberries. Immensely dark purple, inky, warmer at the margins. Sweet nose, baking spices, blueberry, tangy plums. Nice balance between the cool fruit and the warming effect of the 19% alcohol on the palate, as well as between both the prominent sweetness and the prominent acidity. Young and primary, but hard for me to find any faults here. Delicious.

April 18, 2013 - consistent with previous notes. Used some for cooking a reduction to top roasted duck breasts. Wonderful.
