April 9, 2024 - Light lemon and crisp acidity all in balance. Delicious

January 30, 2024 - Classic Bordeaux theme dinner at New Ubin CHIJMES. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
    Vintage 2010. Disgorged 8 Dec 2014.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Fine bubbles. Thin legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of steely minerality, white peach, citrus lemon, yellow apple, yeasty toast. Developed.
on the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of green apple, yellow apple, citrus lemon, white peach, toasty brioche and biscuit, stony minerality, bit of saline and honey with air. Medium+ finish.
Good quality. Probably not much more positive development to be gained from bottle ageing further.

December 17, 2023 - 2010 bottling, purchased in 2014. Still fresh, both in color and on the nose - Lots of yeast. Fine perlage, which persisted throughout the tasting. Pears and citrus on the palate. Fruity on the finish with a hint of sweetbread, broad attack. Lovely glass. Excellent aging performance for a non-vintage champagne.

December 3, 2023 - Vendemmia: 2017. Sboccatura: 3 novembre 2022. Colore giallo dorato brillante; bolla fine e persistente.

December 11, 2022 - Disgorgement labeled L.0308, unknown base vintage. Purchased from Rare Wine Company in late 2017, so at least 5 years post disgorgement. Per the back label, "the source for Le Val Cornet is a tiny plot of old Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier vines planted in Kimmeridgian soil on the remote eastern edge of the Aube."
Last drunk in 2018, this is very delicious although it has barely moved since then. I will hold my final bottle for at least 3 years hoping for further development.
Retasted a week later from under Champagne stopper (more than half the bottle left over) and it's quite tasty and still very fresh. This release has a long life ahead.
