June 12, 2023 - Medium(+) lemon-citrine, crystalline, no hint of brown or amber! Upon opening aromas of raw oyster, seaweed and sea-breeze. Never experienced this kind of aromas in a wine before. Later the sea-flavors receded and floral aromas, lemon, nuts emerged. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium alcohol @13% abv and medium(+)-full body.
Beautiful rich palate with floral notes, acacia, candied lemon. Tangy with remarkable freshness and purity revealed in long exciting finish.

Classic mature Cotes du Rhone blanc, without a trace of oxidation,
53% Marsanne, 25% Viognier, and 22% Roussanne. Stelvin closure.

Stunning how this wine developed. Found it in a wineshop nearby for $20. Will go back to buy more.

December 11, 2013 - Screwcap. Clear olive colour. Mild flavours of starfruit, passionfruit, and melon. Light-medium body with high glycerol, becoming sweeter and fatter as the wine opens up. With a structure provided by broad acid and a hint of tannin, it has potential to improve in the short term.

November 11, 2012 - Thanks Peter for bringing this wine to share with me, it is a white Rhone blend of 53% Marsanne 25% Viognier and 22% Roussanne.
Straw yellow, it has an aromatic nose with floral, apricot, pear and hints of mineral. Peter feels it has some sweetness but I attribute it to its oily texture and rounded palate. Nice gentle acidity and clean minerality along with apricot, pear and subtle spice. Medium finish. A nice white at this price point, restrained palate with some complexity due to partial oak make it a huge contrast compare to the popular Sau Blanc. But I pretty like this.

May 12, 2011 - Lush, rich apricot, melon, round white fruit flavours. Balanced palate- right acid versus body. Will develop.

ED: I have a note "(CHM)" which implies this was provided by my friend, but I also seem to show one of these still in my cellar... hmmm.
