September 27, 2019 - Wow, 08 Barossa showing it’s form. Perfectly balanced with fruit, roundness, soft tannin & just enough length.
Perfect with sous vide lamb shanks!
For those who still have it cellared, best you drink it now as it’s coming to its end of greatness.1 person found this helpful Comment -

March 11, 2011 - An impenetrable deep red in the glass, the nose shows evidence of the 50% new French oak that was used on the wine, adding a luxurious and rich aroma to the plum and violets fruit.
The palate has a concentration and depth that will be very hard to surpass, with an array of fruits ranging from the sweeter blueberry to savoury plum and dark cherry.
The tannins are the highlight of the mid to back palate, and can almost be described as chewy, the finish has rich oak influences and a length that keeps going long after the last sip.
