September 15, 2020 - I was concerned that this might be a bit past it's prime. No worries, it aged extremely well. No tannins, smooth as silk. Notes of dark chocolate, dark cherry. Wishing I had more

September 28, 2019 - Records not handy. My hunch is that I bought 4b for 18/b from WTSO about 6 years ago; this is #2. Decanted with almost not sediment--surprising. Dark purple; mature dark fruit on the nose and palate, good mouthfeel. A little surprised to learn it's all Sangio Grosso. Delicious and holding well; glad I have more. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation: For me, scores on a "100-point scale" are misleading. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. This is notable+ when considering quality, age, and price.
