May 21, 2021 - So dark in colour and so concentrated. It is not subtle or elegant but just so impressively big and balanced. The idea of it being 12.5% is an utter joke but otherwise way, way better than I expected.

May 6, 2013 - Shocked at how decent this was--wasn't expecting much if anything. It's definitely lost some stuffing, and there's not much on the nose, but it has some presence on the palate, a little boysenberry, cocoa, a little cabernet depth. I'm grading this on a curve, no doubt, but points for durability and for being more than just a cellar pruning.
