March 21, 2013 - Drank this with Argentinian-style skirt steak and onions. The wine is very dry and complimented the dish well. It was a little light on fruit and depth due to the overwhelming dryness but I did notice (to my surprise) that there was some fruit coming through after the wine had time to open up. Based on my experience, I would say that this wine would be a wonderful pair to a good steak, but would not be a wine I would enjoy by itself. Given its tannic nature, I would imagine this wine could evolve over time. Well made. 91-92

May 9, 2012 - Wednesday Night Blind - May 2012 (Peter Pratt's Inn): A ringer from Jason, served blind: Pours dark, very tart and tannic, quite tight and unyielding initially. Slowly shows off some nice dark cherry and powdered cocoa notes. A bit simplistic in style, but enjoyable.
