March 23, 2024 - Outrageously good. Got better and better with air and a little warmth. Excellent length with lovely finish. Notes of citrus on the palate earlier on, with lovely butterscotch sweetness starting to come through after 2 hours. Would recommend opening and leaving for a couple of hours, possibly even decanting, as it got better and better with time.

March 18, 2024 - This Monty has entered a good drinking window with a broad aromatic spectrum but no tertiary development yet, as well as a very good balance. It should add additional complexity with time, but it’s so good to drink today. 96pts.

TN: Expressive, intense flint, matchstick, roasted seasme, lots of minerality and citrus fruit. Inviting and wonderful bouquet. On the palate this is so fresh, full of zest, wonderfully balanced and elegant with a wide aroma profile from citrus fruit, to white fruit, some orchard fruit, minerality, a nice saline minerality spine. Superb from a start to finish.

Decanting: This needed a bit of air to show everything. I would decant it for at least 30 minutes.

March 8, 2024 - Tasted blind. Fruit of pear and apple, peach, a whiff of banana and dried apricot. Thick flinty mineral layer and salty sea shells. Herbal notes. Lots of cream on the palate adds a sumptuous texture. Maybe could have benefited from a tad more acidity. Otherwise broad presence, especially mid-palate which adds weight. Expanding aromas with aeration, broadening the mineral tones.

November 29, 2023 - Wow, was not expecting this, straight Montrachet through and through. Enormous weight and power, clearly only gaining energy in the glass and expanding with time. Distinct breed and texture. Seems to be gaining reduction with time as well. Impressive staying power on the palate, plenty of acid behind the powerful clear golden fruit. Definitely an example of vineyard over producer, which is less common, 2010 probably helps as well.
