December 7, 2021 - Same impressions as on 2/18/18. Great buy!!

September 21, 2021 - Hazy impressions from a few days ago. This was a relatively refreshing Gigondas, not weighed down with over ripeness, oak or alcohol. There were mainly redfruits and a hint of game on the medium bodied palate, and still a healthy dose of tannins to give it structure. Not a lot of complexity or character here, though. A solid but somewhat pedestrian Gigondas (B+).

November 27, 2020 - Medium ruby. On the nose medium intensity aroma of licorice, black and red cherries, dried oregano, menthol. On the palate the wine is dry with medium (+) acidity and medium (+) medium grained tannins, high alcohol, medium body with medium intensity flavors on the palate of red cherries, red plums, licorice, dried oregano. The finish is medium plus with lingering red fruits but also some bitterness. The wine is good demonstrating complexity on the nose and the palate with some fresh fruit still apparent, but tertiary aromas dominating. The wine is balanced with the acidity, tannins and fruit nature in balance. The finish while lingering was bitter on the end, and the wine was of medium intensity. The wine requires decanting and several hours before opening up.

March 27, 2020 - Nice, typical southern Rhone wine with medium fruitiness and a good tanin grip at the end. Reasonable QPR a 16-18 Euros but enough stuffing for the long haul.
Drink now and the coming 6 years.
