February 14, 2024 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS: Chateauneuf du Pape vs Gigondas (By me): Complex and beautiful bouquet with dark berries and forest impressions. On the palate a mouth full, dark berries, juicy acidity, firm tannin and noticeable alcohol. Beautiful, luxurious and complex wine. The alcohol keeps the score lower than it could be. 92 - 93

October 7, 2023 - Just fabulous. Beat the 2010 Beaucastel we had on the same night, although having both was an embarrassment of riches. Just love Mas de Boislauzon. Decanted 6 hours. Lovely.

April 29, 2023 - Decanted 4 hours. This is fantastic—the bacon, super dark fruit and pronounced minerality combine to make this something special indeed. Had with Osso Buco, and the pairing is that which dreams are made. Gonna hold my other bottles as I think I just snuck into drinkability. Can’t imagine what heady heights this will hit down the road.

February 2, 2020 - Big, bold, full bodied, ripe. Juicy black fruit, hint of cigar, mineral finish. Delicious now though built to last.
