  July 26, 2015 - Dark amber. One can see even during the pour that there's not much viscosity -- medium body. No sediment at all. Nose of raspberry, graphite, stone. Flavors with more cherry. A touch hot. Moderately high acidity. Relatively short finish. A lot of smoke emerges in the nose as one works one's way through the bottle. But the acid predominates and persists, making this interesting but not easy to enjoy.

  May 30, 2014 - Soft, sweet blue fruit with some hints of spicy herbs, suede, full bodied. Strong without overwhelming alcohol, tannins present but perfectly integrated. Very delicious.
