May 14, 2017 - This wine is still going strong! Needed about 90 mins of airtime to really get going but then it was amazing for the rest of the evening. Red Mountain fruit at its very best. WA State Syrah at its finest. Not a single fault that I could detect. Had a small amount of sediment but not enough to spoil a single glass. This was a Mag I purchased at the Winery and had signed by Big Papa himself. Magic in a bottle!

September 3, 2016 - Requires two hour decant. Delicious dark fruit, low acidity and great tannic grip on the finish.

August 5, 2015 - P&P. This is good stuff...big black fruit, barrel notes, pepper, espresso and bitter baking chocolate. The only negative I can detect is too much oak on the nose. Everything else is top notch.

June 19, 2014 - Deep, dark purple. Nose of dark fruit and pepper. Blackberry and dark fruit on the palate, pepper, cola. Fine grain that are nearing full integratio, not overpowering. Medium-long finish. I see this just entering its drinking window, but may improve over the next 1-2 years. Drink now through next 3-5.

April 21, 2014 - Inky purple color that stained the glass. Meat, violets, and hints of dark fruit on the nose. Big mouthfeel with blackberry, olive, mineral, and spices on the palate. Rich and opulent in style.

(EFESTE Ceidleigh Syrah Red Mountain) An aromatic wine with dark fruit along with abundant mineral notes, savory notes, and high toned floral notes. Bold and fruit filled with a chocolate laden finish. Has enough structure to lay down in the cellar for many years to come.
