June 8, 2013 - This is an elegant Argentinian Malbec. Made for early drinking, this wine still manages to be interesting throughout the whole dinner. Marvellous balance built on refined fruit and a superb mix of acids. M- tannin and long finish. We let it breathe in the decanter for little over 3 hrs, could have used 6 hrs.
We agree with Timbalimba's note on aromas and would like to add menthol on the nose and blueberries on the palate.
At La Verdura, Yokohama. Wife agrees on the score. Fantastic QPR. -
