June 20, 2007 - This wine is only a qualitatswein so we weren't expecting too much, but this one really knocked our socks off. On the nose, fresh baked apple pie with honey and apricot notes. Strong apple and stone fruits on the palate with a medium length finish. Very dry with a touch of a tingle on the tongue. Outstanding QPR. If I can find any more of this I'll buy it by the case and drink it all summer long.

Lots of confounding minerality and a chewy quality that was downright fascinating. We sipped this much slower than
