September 16, 2022 - Good evolution. Still well structured. Gret drinking window.

September 12, 2020 - Gift bottle from an Australian friend. On only a few occasions have I tried Aussie Shiraz with 19 years or more age on it, so this was a greatly appreciated gift. Nose was rich and beautiful. The evolved taste was more oxidized than fungal. This wine is still enjoyable but past its peak and won't improve with additional time. Drink up if you have it.

July 27, 2020 - Good evolution, dark fruit, liquirice, hints of leather. Mellowed, but still intense. Resolved tannins.

February 26, 2015 - Rapsberry, currants, maybe almost cranberry, juicy. Just tasted a bit confectionary and simple for a higher score. Not sure where this is going.

December 20, 2014 - Low level cork taint, detectable when sniffing the cork but not the wine itself. Still enjoyable, and smooth as silk on the palate - but I feel the TCA has muted the aromas and power of the fruit somewhat. I know it's old, but my impressions just don't match the other notes here - so I feel that something has gone wrong. Double decanted for 2 hours. I can feel a sense of the glory this wine should be, but it's buried and just a bit bland overall to me, so I haven't rated it.
