February 10, 2024 - Surprisingly this was still drinkable. There was light sediment in the bottle. Tannins were mellow, which let the blackberry and dark cherry emerge. Just a very hint of a kiss of oak. This didn't punch you in the mouth when drinking it. Didn't feel elegant either, but on the whole it was enjoyable. Received favorable impressions when paired with a grilled ribeye steak and roasted vegetables.
