June 27, 2019 - Black red with dirty hue. Strong aroma of spice, pepper, fresh shrubs, sweet tobacco. Mulberry, plum, mocha. fine sweet tannin, olive to finish. Smooth start, fresh fruit with a developed body, but sharp finish. Not perfect but certainly a good wine.

June 5, 2019 - Dirty purple colour, no hue. Aroma of old oak, forest floor and tar. Dark berries, blackcurrant, olive. Fine tannin, balanced acidity. Funky smell but smooth flavour. Needs to be drunk soon.

March 7, 2019 - Mainly black with a thin dark purple hue. Aroma of forest floor, grilled meat, some early funk quickly dissipates. Blackberry, cherry, plum jam, white pepper, dark chocolate, dried herbs. The fruit is fresh, needs some time to air. Tannin is soft but persistent, a pleasant drying finish.
It has aged well, still has many years ahead of it. The first glass was with dinner but I have enjoyed the second glass by itself better as I have more fully enjoyed the flavours.

October 25, 2018 - Dirty brick red colour. Aroma of spice, dried herbs, saw dust, grilled meat. Blueberry, blackberry, ground black pepper, truffle, olive, full of spice. Medium body, long finish. A bit sharp around the edges, fine but strong tannin. Plenty of personality.
Improved on second night. More rounded and slightly sweeter. The fruit stands out more, some spicy tannin. I gave it an extra point.
