February 6, 2022 - Much better than the notes below. Shows what happens when you leave good Bordeaux. All the elements below came together into top claret.

January 25, 2015 - Disappointing - very bland on the palate / not much left from tannins

August 25, 2012 - Fruity, mature and solid, although there is a little tannis after an hour decanting, this bottle is still quite enjoyable.

July 27, 2012 - With a promising nose of currants and tobacco, it felt a little restrained on the palate on after opening, so we then decanted 2 hours before tasting it again. Good move, the silkiness of this wine, while still a little tannic, is amazing. It kept its currant nose on the palate, has a very long finish. Still fruity but starting to display some vanilla and tobacco, the remaining tannins will help it peak in a couple years i would say.
That was a good buy - will have my other bottles later but it drinks well now if decanted/aerated for a bit.

June 12, 2008 - The nose expresses berries, coffee. herbs and new wood scents. Some green was noted in the back of the mouth in the smooth, textured finish.
