July 30, 2017 - Its been 2 to 3 years since I last tasted this wine and while it has developed nicely, I think that perhaps it is still abit tightly wound. The nose is pretty with greenish, brambly sous bois aromas dominating the slightly stewy red fruit with subtle, caramelly undertones. The palate is fairly rustic tonight with lots of penetrating, dark red fruit that's overshadowed by the aggressive, greenish sous bois notes. The long finish is dominated by firm, chalky tannins. This is my last bottle, so I don't have to deal with the dilemma I'd otherwise have to face, which is, since I prefer my wines without an abundance of stewy flavors, do I drink it sooner to avoid that or later to give the structure time to resolve.

October 9, 2015 - Dried mushrooms, decomposing leaves, and muddled red fruits. Somewhat disjointed although the front of both the nose and palate served as an acceptable complement to a lamb and chicken pita. Not one for drinking without food.

March 27, 2015 - Dark, earthy, brooding, midweight red fruit with a fairly aggressive acidic core and quite abit of structure on the medium finish. Contrary to what I thought last time I tasted this wine, I think this is still quite young and in need of a fair amount of more time.

October 20, 2014 - Double decanted for about 2 hours and displaying soft, fairly delicate red fruit, earth, mushrooms, sous bois and cocoa. Nice enough, but lacking in concentration and complexity, not grand cru quality, but I didn't pay grand cru prices and this drinks like a very nice 1er cru and costs like one too. I have a couple of bottles left and I think it's prudent to drink them up in the next year or two.

November 12, 2012 - Opened but not decanted for about 6 hours. Pretty red fruit, earth and sous bois in a fairly feminine format, but the depth and complexity are somewhat lacking. The tannins are still abit firm and chalky. This is a nice, enjoyable bottle of wine, just not great. This needed a lot of air to open, for the first 3 to 4 hours he fruit was completely muted and dominated by the earthy tones.
