  May 10, 2016 - Very good, 14% alc.
  Colour: dense black berry, slight browning at edges
  Bouquet: ripe berries, blueberry and violet, very savoury
  Palate: similar to bouquet, some soft oak, quite full bodied, dark berry flavours, spicey, slightly short palate and more developed than I'd expect for a wine of this age. Enjoyable though.

  September 10, 2014 - Good-very good. 14% alc.
  Colour: dark dusty berry
  Bouquet: blueberry and violets, quite dusty
  Palate: as bouquet, jammy, full bodied,, big soft tannins, long finish. This wine seems older than 2010, and has lost fruit freshness, maybe it's just this bottle. I'll try another shortly.

  August 8, 2014 - Coffee and chocolate scents with violet notes. On the palate mocha and dark cherry/berries with a thin and dry finish. A tough varietal to get right and stand alone, it tries but can't quite achieve fruitbomb status, but its the varietals fault not the wine-making.

  March 1, 2014 - On the nose there's ripe plums, perfume, milk chocolate & cedar ~ On the palate it's big & round with moderate acidity & persistent tannins with flavors of black plums, ripe strawberry, tobacco & sun bleached wood ~ A big wine but interesting & enjoyable
