Community Tasting Notes 8

December 4, 2022 - Lunch at Jade Court (Chicago, IL): From a bottle opened the night before. Solid, reasonably non-modernist Bordeaux, showing a little more green pyrazine than you might expect for St. Emilion. Good steak wine; harder to think of other possible pairings though.

December 22, 2018 - Solid but not exciting. Maybe a little more time?

October 6, 2017 - Interesting soft and supple garage wine from St Emilion. Not bold and big but made in an elegant way, reasonably priced and very small production.

August 22, 2014 - last tried more than 4 years ago. showing better with some bottle age - very nicely balanced. with 30 min airtime this came along and opened well - soft supple and fruity.

April 22, 2012 - Decanted 3+ hours. Drank next to a Quilceda Creek and PNV Auction wine with a Tenderloin. Nose is very full, floral and fruit. More spice and fruit forward than most right bank wines. As others noted, has a long life ahead of it
