August 6, 2019 - PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Root” day): Medium lemon to the eyes.

Smoke and ripe golden apple upfront. Buttery, popcorn.

Highly focused minerality and acidity. Flavourful on all the elements on nose too. Finishes a little inwards.

    93-94 points to me.

2 hours upon opening: Finishes longer with more depth in flavours. Becoming broader scale and mid palate grew to make up the small gap of flavours in finish. More sandalwood scent on nose too. 94 points.

4 hours upon opening: Becoming a little more compact on palate. Retain at 94 points.

December 28, 2012 - one hour bottle breath; wonderful mixture of subtle creamy, minerals, zesty limes with some ripe fruits; enjoyable in middle and the end; more attacks on the palate compare with the 04 La Seve du Clos drank together during the dinner; both palate and bouquet didn't drop during the whole dinner; an impressive effort for this climat

September 17, 2012 - Aerate to decanter 30 minutes. A highly enjoyable showing. Like a peach pie, laced with stony minerality and topped with lemon zest. Gains weight and complexity with airtime, this was my favorite on the night. Still some very solid drinking ahead of it, but if you have a few, you really should check in on them. recommended

March 27, 2012 - Casual Burg Dinner with Friends (Yusho - Chicago IL): Ripe apple, some peach aromas. Same fruit on palate, with some lemon hints near end. Lots of mineral and acid from middle to finish. Kept improving for 2 hours open.

January 21, 2012 - Aromas of lemon, lemon zest, then ripe peach in background. Ripe, powerful stonel fruit on the start of the palate, followed by citrus flavors toward the middle and end. Lots of minerality and acidity, this is very vibrant and still rather edgy. I think this the rare 2004 needing more time.
