  July 13, 2013 - Thought I might have waited too long to open this. Nose and palate of charantais melon, peach, honey, some citrus. First night the sweet fruit seemed just a tad overblown. The second night the wine had picked up sufficient acidity to pull the whole thing back into balance. Agree with the sweet-sour comment below. Very enjoyable wine and great QPR. Looking forward to opening the 2011 vintage soon.

  bright and complex in the mouth, nice minerality with hint of saline, stone fruit, peach.

  January 17, 2012 - Big mineral, green tropical fruit and (lemon oil). Medium bodied, with subtle green tropical and apple flavors, fleshy and a lot of green, oily herbal flavors and slight bitterness, plus tangy acidity. These folks seem to end up with a bittersweet and sour thing with their chards (not neccessarily in order). (*)
