November 20, 2022 - Tasted Blind. Wow big nose (and palate) right off the bat. Lots going on, very complex. Touch of toast, lemon, honey drizzle. On the palate this packs and punch but is extremely well proportioned. Has the chiseled structure of my favorite white burgs. Really outstanding and fresh and lively. Strong acidic spine. Guessed Roulot, Leflaive, Lafon, PYCM. All wrong. Could it be Coche? Yes...makes sense now but doesn’t have the telltale signs that immediately would take me to Coche. Maybe I just need to drink more Coche! Either way, stunning wine.

November 11, 2022 - Booming nose right off the pop. This continuously grew and improved over two hours. Gunpowder. Some development but still very fresh. Toasty. Has plenty in the way of dense yellow fruit power. Very clean. I am hard on my own bottles but I think this is stunning. Not fat, lots of structure and acid. White spice. Balanced and complete. Superb.

November 21, 2020 - An excellent bottle - showed well from the start. Initially acidity dominant, but broadened increasingly without losing precision. Perfect balance. Lovely flowery notes and a little flint.

October 14, 2020 - What a treat. Still very fresh and youthful, just a fantastic bottle of white Burgundy that is perfectly balanced.

February 5, 2020 - Good power here. Still significant energy and intensity.

Burgundy-Report

(Coche-Dury Meursault Les Caillerets) Medium lemon-yellow. The nose is quite high-toned with faint, but not excessive, estery notes over a base of mainly pear fruit. The palate is a little fatter than the Chartron, quite silky and also shows good acidity. There is some intensity of fruit, but despite some minerality it is delivered in a rather dense and unyielding fashion. Excellent length. This is a very good and very well proportioned wine, but I miss some engagement.
