  April 6, 2013 - Med ruby, strong noses of ripe cherries. Dry with fruity mineral, ripe plumbs with a little rosehip acid, earthy, funky leather, leafy tannins. 87 on the PnP. Let's see how this develops over night. A bit on the jammy fruit side for my tastes.

  March 29, 2012 - Enjoyed this Mourvedre quite a bit. Very good QPR. But not experienced enough to comment on varietal correctness. Red and dark cherries with a nice spicy, brambly note. Nice on entry, light on its feet, but seemed a bit hollow on the mid-palate. Great Thursday night wine with my pizza. I appreciate the lower ABV.

  November 19, 2011 - Pop & pour. This is a very elegant wine! Quite light on its feet, low alcohol, very luscious fruit. Not as much of the spiciness I typically get off a WA Mourvedre, but very tasty. Is showing nice cherry fruit, a hint of spice, and the nose has some of that wonderful funk from "The Rocks" area south of Walla2. Great wine, Trey!

  October 15, 2011 - Took a while to track down and find this wine. Lower alcohol than I expected (listed as 12.7% on the bottle). Lots of red fruit flavor, but less spice than I was looking forward to. Overall an elegant wine and a good value for WA Mourvedre at $15.
