June 22, 2014 - Talking here of the 2011: Great value; classy, minerally mouthful w/Stairs (Cockney, Apples & Pears), medium body and a five-to six-second finish. Quality wine at an affordable price -good for you, Henri Perrusset!

February 9, 2013 - Good, but nothing special. Pear and a little citrus fruit with medium-high acid and some minerality. Buy again: Probably not.

December 20, 2012 - Wine of the year 2012.. I buy this twice a week. 2010 great vintage across all of earth. A lovely almond extract jumps out of the glass with the support of fresh cut pineapple behind. These favors show up round and precise in the mouth with a crisp orange marmalade finish.

July 15, 2012 - There are oak-like aromas in this bottle--not at Californian levels, to be sure, but quite evident--except that I don't know whether this sees any oak at all(!). It was unpleasant for my personal taste, obfuscating the fruit and minerality that seemed to lie underneath, thereby depriving the wine of much of its identity. Maybe I'm too sensitive to the influence of wood, or at least something that reminds me of wood. (If, in fact, this never saw a barrel then I'm not sure what I'm perceiving as oakiness.) On day 2, though, the fruit had largely surrendered and what remained was one-dimensional. I'm puzzled by this wine much more than excited by it.

June 12, 2012 - Great value - the clean lemon tartness and minerality one would expect, with a subtle undertone of oak providing some complexity. Even a touch of rhubarb on the palate.
