November 27, 2011 - Wow! Aged beautifully. Smooth as silk. Black fruits still on the palate. Some oak on the finish, but I'd say that's typical of the time it was made.

September 9, 1998 - Tasting of 5 merlots. Brilliant red color in the glass, nice rich, sweet/sour cherry fruit on the nose, touch of heat and dust too, nice rich simple fruit, leather taste, medium finish, big acid, medium tannins. My #3.
