October 28, 2011 - Dark fruit nose with cassis and dark cherry. Some bell pepper, spinach, liquorice and baking spice.
Medium to fullbodied and refreshingly acidic palate with some grip and juicy dark berry fruit. Cedar, bell pepper, pencil shavings, iron, vanilla, liquorice and some meaty nuances. Good length showing more astringency. The mid-palate falls a bit short now, but that might well improve with more air or age. EDIT: on day2 the mid-palate had filled in.
Again nice stuff for more than decent price.
