February 21, 2015 - Interesting stuff, initially shows black fruit and spices along with a distinct vegetal note. Lots of acidity, nice tannins. A bit jagged and rough now, I suspect that it'll need even more time to sort itself out.

May 3, 2014 - Night 1 - PnP. Muted nose with only hints of cranberries and earth. On palate, very earthy with some tart red fruits. Light bodied with short finish. Great food wine.

Night 2 after night in fridge - Similar to night 1, but earthiness took a back seat to the tart red fruits.

Really enjoyed this. And appreciated the 11% ABV.

May 9, 2013 - (Open 2 hours, 2nd glass): This is in a nice place tonight, smells like a bag of dried cranberries, young cherries and a hint of red tea. Smells really good, there is just a hint of richness too in the nose that is great. The palate is youthful red fruit, young cherry, under-ripe but red strawberries, pomegranate and cranberry. Bright, juicy acidity spikes up in the finish and shows good balance to the intensity of the fruit flavors. The tannins are subtle but present, showing just a bit of grip to the gums and cheeks with intensity below that of the fruit and acids. The finish is nice, the fruit that shows a bit of a tart edge initially shows a bit of richness after the acids relax with red tea and fruit. This bottle is showing a bit more weight than the last bottle, I know this is 11% abv but it's showing a bit more substance tonight. Killer juice.
