March 14, 2020 - Medium garnet with a hint of opacity. Rich nose, spicy cherry. Red fruit, candied cherry, a little brambly. Some weakness in mid palate. Medium finish. Drink now.

November 3, 2019 - This was delightful tonight almost immediately after opening with a pretty nose of rich, earthy red fruit and spicy sous bois with subtle, green, brambly undertones, all of which are reflected in the deep, penetrating palate. Quite nice.

September 11, 2019 - Clear light red in color. Notes of leather, earth, rhubarb, and stewed fruit. Dry, med body, med acidity, smooth tannins. Med finish. Nice wine with tuna steak. Considering it is 12 years old it was still drinking well. I am still looking for that “ah hah” moment with burgundy wines. This didn’t provide it.

June 13, 2019 - Very similar to the bottle I had last year. Opened for two hours and poured through a vintorio. Fruit on the nose. Plums, rhubarb and baking spice on the palate and a moderate finish. Drinking nicely at 12 years old.

May 21, 2018 - Nice wine at ten years old. Dark red fruit on the nose, the palate was dark cherry, a touch of rhubarb and a hint of baking spices. The finish was moderate and starting to flatten out.
