Community Tasting Notes 8

July 1, 2013 - Another great nose of floral notes and menthol. A pleasure to sniff. Palate is juicy, bright, with dark fruit intermingled, and a good background of acidity. A happy wine.

March 8, 2013 - Tasted stale...did not love. May be past it's prime

October 6, 2012 - This remains one of our favorite bourgueils. Bright fruit, great funk and perfect with just about any food

May 24, 2012 - Lightish ruby with blue hue. Reserved nose, but showing herbaceousness, dried herbs, dark raspberry. Sweet, soft, fresh, juicy attack, with very soft, light tannins, moderate acidity, very short term concentration - drink and quaff! -- and a short finish. A fun, soft, gently ripe, unpretentious drink, and a good entry-point for an adventurous consumer.

April 20, 2012 - Lovely nose of a combo of menthol/camphor/light tar, with some cab fruit intermingled. Taste is juicy, dark fruity with a good bite of acid. A real pleasure to drink.
