March 16, 2024 - Drank from Magnum. Very dark color, rich smooth plum on the nose and carrying through to the palate with a tannic finish. Still drinking nicely.

    July 4, 2022 - Drinking beautifully

March 21, 2020 - This is not a delicate wine, but it's still at the more traditional end of the California spectrum -- dry, structured and very easy to drink. In its prime.

May 4, 2014 - Given all the notes, my comment is this: if you like old world, earthy cab, you'll be pleased, but if you like fruit-forward or even balanced cabernet, you'll be disappointed, especially if you paid over $45 for this wine. I've had better cabernets in all styles for less.

October 23, 2013 - Tasted at Vintages Napa Valley Rocks seminar. Nose of cherry, cassis, oak and spice. Good body. Taste is dominated by cherry and strawberry with some oak evident. Good acidity. Drying tannins on the spicy finish. A little astringent and harsh.
