December 29, 2018 - Undrinkable. All spoiled due to bad synthetic cork.

November 25, 2018 - Opened for FMIII's pinot charity challenge. This wine is completely ruined by the black fake synthetic cork. I though it was a mixture of skunk cabbage and bad weak sherry. One of the others at out tailgate thought it was reminiscent of Magen David wine. I refused t let anyone else try it once the two of us confirmed that it was DOA. However, I found a use for it . . . we used it to put out the remaining coals from the grill before going into the football game. See the Wineberserkers.com thread here (https://www.wineberserkers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=155629&sid=16943851557f78ce2a67caa71489ac04) where I will post photos of such use if you are interested.

August 23, 2014 - Completely brown and oxidized. This appears to be an endemic problem due to the synthetic corks. BE WARNED. These may all be undrinkable.

September 28, 2013 - OK...this is a flaw in the cork or in wine making. the winery doesn't acknowledge the issues with it either...will never by anything from Greg Piatigorski made wines again!

December 25, 2011 - Caramelized...really bad fruit mess. Must be an issue with the cork!
